E1 Series Announces 2026 Calendar with Bahamas Finale

The UIM E1 World Championship will race across four continents in 2026, with the all-electric series expanding to eight rounds and adding the Bahamas as its first Caribbean venue.

The season opens in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on 23-24 January before returning to Miami and venues that delivered strong attendance in 2025.

E1’s European schedule begins at Lake Como on 24-25 April, followed by Dubrovnik on 13-14 June. The series then heads to Monaco on 17-18 July, where new entrant Team Monaco will compete on home waters for the first time.

Return to Africa and North America

The championship returns to Lagos, Nigeria on 3-4 October following the record crowds that attended the inaugural African race in 2025.

Miami hosts the penultimate round on 14-15 November before the series concludes in the Bahamas on 21-22 November. The Caribbean finale marks E1’s first race in the region.

One round scheduled for 4-5 September has yet to be confirmed.

Celebrity Team Owners

Tom Brady, LeBron James, Rafael Nadal, Will Smith and Steve Aoki continue as team owners in the championship. Their involvement has helped establish E1’s profile across different sports and entertainment markets.

The series now broadcasts in over 140 territories.

Alejandro Agag, E1 founder and Chairman, said:

The 2026 E1 calendar marks an exciting new chapter for us. We’re rapidly establishing an exciting, truly global Championship that combines cutting-edge electric innovation with iconic coastal cities and new markets.

With incredible support from our team owners – including Will Smith, Tom Brady, LeBron James, Rafael Nadal, and Steve Aoki – we’re bringing the thrill of high-speed racing on water to new and existing fans across the world.

Rodi Basso, E1 founder and CEO, added:

Our vision for E1 has always been to inspire change through competition. This calendar showcases that ambition – reaching more countries, engaging more fans, and continuing to demonstrate that electric marine mobility is the future.

With every season, E1 is not only growing as a sport but showing what’s possible when sport drives sustainability forward.
