The E1 Series has announced two new commercial partnerships in the days leading up to the E1 Lake Como GP 2026 presented by Villa d’Este, which takes place on April 24 and 25. Swiss luxury watchmaker Hublot joins as Official Timekeeping Partner, while Champagne Telmont – already part of the E1 family since the championship’s first season in 2024 – has expanded its role to become Official Champagne Partner.
Hublot becomes Official Timekeeping Partner
Hublot, the Swiss watchmaker known for its bold design and technical precision, will provide timekeeping operations across the E1 season. The brand will have visibility on the championship’s global broadcast feed, which reaches more than 230 territories, and will activate within E1’s exclusive Ocean Club VIP hospitality at race weekends.
The partnership makes its championship debut at Lake Como on April 25. Alejandro Agag, founder and Chairman of E1, set out the logic of the tie-up:
Alejandro Agag, founder and Chairman, E1:
“Precision is not simply a feature of what we do at E1; it is the foundation. Hublot is built on the same belief. This partnership is a natural meeting of two global brands that refuse to separate ambition from performance. I look forward to what we will build together.”
E1 CEO Jamie Copas added:
Jamie Copas, Chief Executive Officer, E1:
“This partnership brings together two brands that are redefining what is possible in their respective fields. Hublot shares our belief that innovation should be felt, not just measured, and that is exactly the experience we want every fan to have with E1. We are excited to have them alongside us and look forward to everything we will achieve together.”
Julien Tornare, Chief Executive Officer of Hublot, said:
Julien Tornare, Chief Executive Officer, Hublot:
“Hublot is delighted to partner with the E1 World Championship that provides the perfect platform for us to engage with our clients and our Hublotista community. We see E1 as an exceptional space for client activation, offering unique and unforgettable experiences that align perfectly with the spirit of our brand.”
Telmont expands to Official Champagne Partner
Champagne Telmont’s relationship with E1 dates to the championship’s inaugural 2024 season, during which the house has been central to podium celebrations and has been served in the Ocean Club hospitality. That association is now formalised, with Telmont confirmed as Official Champagne Partner.
The Champagne house was founded in 1912 and has placed environmental responsibility at the centre of its operations, committing to fully regenerative and organic viticulture and targeting climate-positive status by 2030. E1 cites shared sustainability values as a key factor in the strengthened arrangement.
Copas said:
Jamie Copas, Chief Executive Officer, E1:
“We are delighted to continue and expand our relationship with Telmont, a company who shares our deep commitment to sustainability and excellence, making them a natural partner for E1. Now becoming our Official Champagne Partner, Telmont takes the partnership to a new level. From our E1 Ocean Club hospitality through to podium celebrations, Telmont enhances the luxury experience for guests and fans at an E1 race weekend.”
Ludovic du Plessis, President of Telmont, said:
Ludovic du Plessis, President, Telmont:
“Leveraging on innovation and technology, E1 is revolutionizing – and decarbonizing – a prestigious sport, a discipline of excellence, while continuing to offer an exceptional experience. This is exactly the spirit in which Maison Telmont acts in Champagne: innovating to help reduce our impact on the environment, while upholding traditional know-how. We are proud to be an official partner of the UIM E1 World Championship.”
Both partnerships will be on show at Lake Como from April 24, where E1’s current partner roster also includes principal partner PIF, Mercury Racing as Official Propulsion and Propeller Partner, SIMRAD as Official Marine Electronics Partner, and Kuehne+Nagel as Official Logistics Supplier, among others.
