The first Sunseeker 134 Superyacht has made the passage along the Dorset coast from Portland to Poole under tow, ending the first phase of her construction at Osprey Quay. She is now inside Sunseeker’s dedicated superyacht facility in Poole, where her interior fit-out will be carried out.

She left Portland with her structural and engineering work complete. Her hull has been moulded and her main deck and superstructure fitted, and her engines, generators, shafts, propellers, stabilisers and core hydraulic systems are installed, along with the fuel, fresh water, grey water and black water systems that run through the vessel.

Fit-Out in Poole

In Poole the work moves to wheelhouse technology, electrical infrastructure and the remaining onboard systems, which will be integrated alongside bespoke cabinetry and the interior itself. The 134 is built to order, with the owner able to tailor materials, finishes and layout throughout.

The owner has also commissioned a bespoke “Extreme Black” hull finish. Sunseeker presents the choice as a deliberate break from the conventional finishes that dominate much of the superyacht market.

From Lamination to Poole

Powerboat News has followed this build since the first lamination of Hull No.1 at Osprey Quay on 10 March 2026. In May the hull was lifted from its mould, with the owner arriving by helicopter to watch.

Sunseeker has previously said Hull No.1 is due to go into testing in April 2027, before delivery to her owner on the West Coast of the United States. She will be the third Sunseeker the owner has commissioned.

At 40.45 metres the 134 sits at the top of Sunseeker’s current production range. Above it, the company unveiled its 45M Superyacht concept in September as part of its “Original Mavericks” rebrand.
