Team Bermuda led every lap from pole position to win Super Stock at the 32nd Annual St. Clair River Classic on Sunday, with David Selley driving and Steven Bridges on the throttle for the GL Team Bermuda entry, S-25.
The win completed a full weekend of racing on the St. Clair River, sanctioned by the Offshore Powerboat Association (OPA) and organised by the Blue Water Offshore Racing Association (BWORA). Sunday
Clash of the Titans
Sunday’s card opened with the Clash of the Titans, a four-lap exhibition race for classic and vintage offshore boats. Wicked, driven by Jax Muller with Jay Muller on the throttle, took the win over a field that included Larry Smith’s “Team USA” Scarab, the all-riveted aluminium catamaran Dirty Laundry, a father-daughter Chris-Craft entry, Pat Marlo’s 24-foot Fountain, and a Cigarette described on the broadcast as one of the first nine hulls laid up by Don Aronow.

Montlick Injury Attorneys, with veteran Italian Giovanni Carpitella throttling for driver Logan Adan, overcame a slow start to take the win. Carpitella’s last race win came in Class 3D at Rodi Garganico, driving Gasbeton to victory in Race 2 alongside Andrea Bacchi.
Good Boy Vodka returned to the pits before the start with a technical issue and did not take part in the race. Throttleman Rob Lockyer faced a date clash this weekend: his UK Class 1 boat, also raced as Good Boy Vodka, did not enter UKOPRA’s Round 4, the MDL Marinas Mercury Offshore Grand Prix, held the same weekend. He still leads the 2026 UKOPRA Class 1 championship. That UK round was itself curtailed by a large fleet of yachts filling the course, much as freighter traffic shortened the Factory Stock race at St. Clair.

2026 IHRA Super Stock Champions Team Bermuda led from pole position for the full 12 laps. Say Less retired with a mechanical issue. Allied, which had rolled over in Saturday’s qualifying in the north turn, spent the night having its motor changed and the boat dried out, and was cleared to start on Sunday to applause at the drivers’ meeting.
Allied’s throttleman, Shaun Torrente, will miss next weekend’s XINSURANCE Great Lakes Grand Prix in Michigan City, Indiana. He will instead be in Kyrgyzstan defending his UIM F1H2O world championship.

Wazzup led every lap from the outside of the front row, with Anthony Smith throttling for his father, driver Ed “Smitty” Smith.
DSK’s Charlie Williams, a British engineer for Rob Lockyer’s stable of offshore race boats in the UK and the US, made his return to racing alongside Tim Linden to take third. Go GPS Racing required assistance getting back to the marina after the race with a suspected water leak.
Extreme

American Custom Marine has recorded speeds of up to 172 mph this season. The boat, the sole Extreme entry, retired from Sunday’s race with a blown transmission.
Super Cat
No Super Cat race took place. Wicked, the class’s only entrant, scratched from Sunday’s pro card after running in the Clash of the Titans exhibition earlier in the day.
