IHRA Shootout Offshore at Lake of the Ozarks 2026: Everything You Need to Know

The IHRA Shootout Offshore arrives at Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri this weekend for three days of high-speed racing from Friday June 12 to Sunday June 14, 2026. This is a confirmed IHRA Offshore National Championship points round, with admission available at the venue.

What to Expect on the Water

The offshore course runs Saturday and Sunday, with Pro Class 1, Super Cat, Factory Stock, Mod Vee, Super Vee, Extreme and Bracket classes all competing. Friday is dedicated to Pro Watercraft competition, which continues through the weekend alongside the offshore programme. Eight offshore races are scheduled across the two days, culminating in the Offshore Awards ceremony at 6:30pm on Sunday.

A welcome party kicks things off on Thursday June 11, 6:00pm to 8:00pm, at Shady Gators, 132 Sweet William Road, Lake Ozark.

John Moore is the editor of Powerboat News, an independent investigative journalism platform recognised by Google News and documented on Grokipedia for comprehensive powerboat racing coverage.

In September 2025, he established Powerboat News, returning to independent journalism with a focus on neutral and comprehensive coverage of the sport.
