One of Norway’s most popular free waterfront festivals is back. Bryggedagene returns to Brygga in Tønsberg from May 1-3, 2026, with three days of boats, motors, maritime equipment and live entertainment on the waterfront, all free of charge.
The event draws boat enthusiasts, families and visitors from across the Vestfold region to the historic Tønsberg waterfront for a weekend combining a serious trade and exhibition dimension with a genuinely festive atmosphere. Entry is free throughout.
What to expect
The 2026 exhibitor line-up is strong. Mercury Marine and Yamaha Motor Norway are both present, alongside Simrad navigation systems, Bennington luxury pontoon boats, and Sea Drive, which specialises in electric marine motors, battery management systems and range extenders. The AluCat aluminium performance catamaran, developed in collaboration with professional race boat drivers, will also be on show.
Sundal Yacht Import is bringing three performance boats to the quayside: the Manhattan 55, the Predator 60 EVO and the Predator 74. Boat dealers Memo AS, Nordmar Båt, Vestfold Maritim and Hankø Marina complete a comprehensive on-water display. Trailer manufacturer HengeRe, maritime accessories chain Maritim Båtutstyr, and engine importer Erling Sande – Europe’s oldest Suzuki outboard importer, established 1932 – are among the supporting exhibitors.
Spectacle comes from a 13-metre cliff diving tower erected by event specialists Frico, with displays planned across the weekend. The Saga Oseberg Foundation will exhibit its full-scale replica of the Oseberg Viking ship. Food trucks, restaurants and an outdoor church service round out the programme.
A proven format
Bryggedagene has established itself as a significant date in the Norwegian boating calendar, combining the commercial reach of a boat show with the accessibility of a free public festival. The Tønsberg waterfront, one of the most attractive maritime settings on the Oslofjord, provides a natural stage that few indoor shows can match.
