The UIM European Powerboat Championships for F-125 and F-250 come to Rogoźno, Poland, from Friday 21 to Sunday 23 August, run alongside the Polish Powerboat Championships in OSY-400, GT-30 and P-750. Racing takes place on Rogoźno Lake, closed to all other vessels for the weekend.
Both are standalone single-event European titles rather than season-long championships, so the weekend crowns its winners outright. Komsport Sp. z o.o. runs the event for the Polish Motorboat and Water Ski Association, with the City Hall of Rogoźno as co-organiser.
What to Expect
F-125 and F-250 are propeller-driven hydroplanes in the same technical family as F-500, at smaller engine capacities. OSY-400 shares that lineage, while GT-30 is a production tunnel boat and P-750 a larger displacement class. UIM rules set the minimum age at 16 across F-125, F-250, OSY-400 and GT-30.
The race course is a closed hexagon circuit, 1,300 metres per lap for every class. F-250 and GT-30 run the longest races, a start lap plus nine scoring laps; F-125 and OSY-400 run a start lap plus five; P-750 a start lap plus six. The European Championship classes, F-125 and F-250, run four heats, with all four counting toward the result. The Polish Championship classes count three heats each. A maximum of 16 boats are permitted on the course at once, and all heats start with a dead engine.
The top six finishers in each European Championship class receive trophies, with UIM gold, silver and bronze medals for the class winners. Results are published live at motorboatresults.com.

Venue and Access
The circuit is on Rogoźno Lake at Komsport Sp. z o.o., Za Jeziorem Street 40, 64-610 Rogoźno. Public viewing areas are marked on the shoreline either side of the pit area, and a ticket covering pit and viewing pontoon access is available on site for 30 PLN per person.
