Gabriele Rossi and Massimiliano Cremona were crowned UIM European Powerboat Champions in F-125 and F-250 at Rogoźno, Poland, on Sunday. Both titles were decided outright after four heats on Rogoźno Lake, single-event European Championships run separately from the Hydro GP world series.

F-125

Rossi won all three heats he started, taking Heat 1, Heat 2 and Heat 3, and arrived at Sunday’s fourth and final heat already champion. He did not start Heat 4, finishing on 1200 points.

Tobias Wahlsten won Heat 4 to move above Nicolò Darai into second overall, closing his weekend on 1075 points to Darai’s 938. Henryk Synoracki took fourth on 600 points despite failing to finish both Heat 1 and Heat 4, sandwiched around back-to-back second places in Heats 2 and 3. Ladislav Herbansky rounded out the top five.

Daniele Ghiraldi was handed a one-lap penalty in Heat 3 for damaging or destroying the first buoy. Simona Emilia Fittavolini received a yellow card for dangerous driving in Heat 2. Luca Finotti, entered for the event, did not feature in the final classification.
