Lithuania took two Baltic championship titles and three silver medals at the weekend’s Baltic and Estonian championship rounds on Lake Harku, Tallinn, held alongside the F-500 European Championship.
Elimantas Raziulis won the Baltic championship title in GT-15, with compatriot Urtė Gedrimaitė second. Nida Kilinskaitė took the Baltic title in F4, with Paulius Stainys second. Mantas Kukcinavičius added a third Lithuanian silver in F2, and Arvydas Dranseika finished fourth in OSY-400.
The results continue a pattern of strength from Lithuania’s younger classes. Powerboat News has previously covered the Lithuanian Motorboat Academy’s international training work and its push to bring new nations into Formula Future racing.
OSY-400: Suuk Sweeps to Baltic Title
Rene Suuk won all three OSY-400 races to be crowned Baltic champion. Kärol Soodla took silver, Poland’s Jeremi Jóźwiak was third, and Dranseika fourth.
Rene Suuk:
“The first goal was to finish every race, because the world’s best were here, including this year’s world championship silver and bronze medallists. My strength is starts and rough conditions. It’s a great feeling to close out my OSY-400 career this way. Big thanks to the whole team.”
Kärol Soodla:
“It was great to race against the world’s best, and with conditions as rough as they were, it was good practice in waves. Next up is the OSY-400 European Championship in Italy.”
GT-30: Laur Takes the Round
Paul Rihard Laur won the final two races to take the round win in GT-30. Finland’s Leevi Paasonen finished second, with Erik Suuk third. Kevin Sillaots was fourth, Alfred Raadik fifth, Sten Ivanov sixth and Rauno Peet eighth.
Paul Rihard Laur:
“I came here to get race experience, since I haven’t had much time in the new boat yet. We wanted to test the setup in windy conditions. We made a small change to the weight distribution before the last race and it worked. The next goal is the European Championship. Thanks to my father and the whole family.”
GT-15 and F-125
Behind Raziulis and Gedrimaitė in GT-15, Estonia’s Oliver Lääne took bronze, with Bulgaria’s Petar Stoyanov fourth. Jaroslav Bassov was seventh, Ron Põvat eighth and Stanley Vihermäe eleventh in the final classification.
In F-125, Latvia’s Kristers Musts was the class’s sole entrant and took the win.
F2 and F4 also raced across the weekend, closing out Estonia’s circuit powerboat championship season for 2026.
