XCAT Postpones Fujairah Grand Prix 2026

The UIM XCAT World Championship has postponed the Fujairah Grand Prix, originally scheduled for April 17-19, to a later date in the 2026 season. The series announced the decision on March 12, citing “current circumstances” and the need to ensure the well-being of all participants.

The event was to have opened the six-round 2026 season at the Fujairah International Marine Club on the Gulf of Oman coast. Organisers confirmed the race is not cancelled, and that new dates will be communicated once finalised with local committees.

The event is not cancelled – it is simply being moved further down the calendar to guarantee a safe and smooth experience for everyone involved. We are working closely with local committees to finalise the new dates, which will be communicated shortly.UIM XCAT World Championship statement, March 12, 2026

The postponement comes amid wider disruption to motorsport events in the Middle East region. No replacement date has yet been announced.

Season schedule

With the Fujairah round moved, the XCAT calendar currently shows two confirmed rounds: Kuwait on October 29-31 and the Dubai season finale on December 11-13. The series operates a six-round calendar for 2026, with the remaining venues and dates to be announced.
