Sunseeker International has begun the first lamination of Hull No.1 of its new 134 Superyacht, marking the formal start of construction at its dedicated superyacht facility at Osprey Quay, Dorset.
The milestone was celebrated on March 10, 2026 with a ceremony attended by colleagues from across the business. Chief Operating Officer Steve Timms delivered a speech recognising the collective effort required to reach this stage, with more than 100 qualified boat builders committed to the build.

The 27,000 sq ft facility at Osprey Quay has been purpose-built for superyacht production, with significant investment in infrastructure, capability and workflow. Sunseeker describes it as the birthplace of the company’s next generation of superyachts.
Hull No.1 is scheduled to come off the line for testing in April 2027, before delivery to her owner on the West Coast of the United States. This will be the third Sunseeker the owner has commissioned.
Chief Design Officer Ewen Foster spoke of the team’s ambition for the 134 Superyacht’s design.
“This is a very proud moment for our Design and Engineering team. From bow to stern, the 134 Superyacht external design and internal layout have been developed with the sole intent of elevating the very nature of life at sea. With an iconic profile, an effortless flow between internal and external spaces and very generous volume every experience aboard will feel intuitive and beautifully resolved. She will be an incredibly strong statement at sea. A legacy for her owner, and for us.”
– Ewen Foster, Chief Design Officer, Sunseeker International

Hull No.2 will begin as soon as Hull No.1 is de-moulded, keeping the Osprey Quay facility in continuous production.
CEO Andres Rubio framed the 134 Superyacht as the first step in a broader programme of new model development under Sunseeker’s current ownership.
“With new ownership, renewed investment and a long-term leadership team now in place, Sunseeker is laying the foundations for an ambitious new chapter in superyacht development. The Sunseeker 134 Superyacht is the first step, with a pipeline of groundbreaking new models already in development that will push the boundaries of design, performance and onboard experience.”
