Morse Ready for Retribution

British powerboat racer Ben Morse, from Lowestoft, is preparing for a decisive weekend in Viverone, Italy, as the 2025 UIM F4 World Championship reaches its finale.

At 31, Morse arrives determined to put a difficult season behind him. A heavy crash at the opening round in Mons, Belgium, derailed his early campaign and left him chasing lost ground. Now, with the final two rounds ahead, he is intent on redemption and on showing the full measure of his pace and ability.

Despite the setbacks, Morse has trained and prepared meticulously, determined to deliver the podium finish he believes both he and his team deserve. His resilience and hunger mean he will be one to watch as he lines up against nearly twenty of the world’s best F4 drivers, all vying for the last 40 points of the season and the chance to shake up the standings.

The Final Challenge

The Viverone finale will unfold over two days of intense racing. Each day begins with timed qualification sessions, where the drivers will push their boats to the absolute limit in pursuit of pole position. These sessions will be crucial in shaping the strategy and outcome of the Grand Prix races that follow, with early track position often proving decisive.

With everything still to play for, the final races are expected to deliver drama, high-speed duels, and daring manoeuvres as drivers fight for glory on the waters of Lake Viverone.

The Backdrop

Set against the serene beauty of north-west Italy, Viverone provides a striking stage for the season’s climax. Its shimmering waters may appear tranquil, but they can quickly turn unpredictable, testing both the skill and composure of even the most experienced competitors.

This blend of natural splendour and fierce competition ensures a memorable spectacle, both for those on the water and the crowds gathered along the lakeside.

Words from Morse

Looking ahead to the challenge, Morse was clear about his determination:

“I owe my team a podium finish. The last two international events have certainly not gone to plan and lady luck has not been on our side. With a collision at the Europeans and then flipping the boat at the opening round of the World Championship in Mons, it’s been tough.”

He added:

“The team have worked so hard, and we know we have the pace to fight for podium positions—that’s exactly what we’re going to do. There are a lot of strong racers in the field, but we’re confident we can bring home some silverware this weekend and finish the season in style.”

Redemption on the Horizon

For Morse, Viverone represents more than just another race weekend – it’s an opportunity to set the record straight.
