Maverick Racing Announces 2026 F1H2O 4-stroke / Moore Project

At the Caen F4 Grand Prix, F1H2O’s Maverick Racing team confirmed a strategic collaboration with Moore Formula Racing and Lethiec & Sons of Mercury Racing. The partnership aims to develop a cutting-edge boat tailored for the V8 F1 360 APX 4-stroke Mercury engine, set for the 2026 UIM F1H2O World Championship.

Maverick Racing has established itself as a leading French team, with drivers like Cédric Deguisne and Alexandre Bourgeot demonstrating consistent performance in Moore-built boats. The team’s focus on innovation and high-performance technology drives this latest initiative.

Moore Formula Racing, based in Tosny, France, is renowned for precision inshore racing boat construction. Their expertise will be key in crafting a vessel optimised for the new Mercury 360 APX engine.

Lethiec & Sons, Mercury Racing’s official distributor in France, will provide engines, parts, and technical support, ensuring Maverick Racing leverages the latest technology and resources.

The Mercury Racing 360 APX V8, a 4.6-litre 4-stroke outboard, combines high torque with reliability, setting a new standard for circuit-racing performance.
