Edgaras Riabko: Balancing Racing and Race Organisation in UIM F2
Lithuania’s Edgaras Riabko isn’t just fighting for points on the UIM F2 circuit – he’s also one of the sport’s key organisers, responsible for bringing international racing to his home country.
Powerboat News spoke with him ahead of two back-to-back races in Portugal about the challenges of competing and organising at the same time, his season so far, and the future of Lithuanian powerboat racing.
From Cockpit to Command: Al-Qamzi Takes Management Role
Thani Al-Qamzi, the Emirati powerboat legend who retired from competitive racing last year, has joined the management team of the Abu Dhabi Powerboat Team at the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club (ADMSC).
The move recognises his long and distinguished service to the sport while allowing him to continue contributing to Team Abu Dhabi under the continued leadership of Team Manager Guido Cappellini.
Lindholm Bids Farewell to UIM F2
After more than a decade on the water, Alexander Lindholm has decided to step away from competitive powerboat racing.
The Finnish driver, best known for representing LiWe Racing on the international stage, confirmed in a Facebook post that the team has sold their boat and have no immediate plans to return.
