After Powerboat News reported yesterday that Steve Curtis has been appointed Team Principal of E1 Team Miami, the team has announced Timmy Hansen and Patricia Pita Gago as its pilots for the 2026 UIM E1 World Championship, replacing Erik Stark and Anna Glennon after a difficult 2025 season that saw the team finish ninth in the championship.

Pita Gago steps into a full-time race seat after serving as reserve pilot during 2025.

Team Monaco Confirms Duncan and Nocher As Drivers

Team Monaco has confirmed Maxime Nocher and Oban Duncan as its pilots for the 2026 UIM E1 World Championship, with the Principality’s official entry making its debut at Jeddah on 23-24 January.

Nocher, an 11-time kitefoil world champion, will compete as both CEO and pilot of the Monaco-backed team racing under number 98, the Principality’s country code.
