Aquila Catamarans will bring five power models to the Cannes Yachting Festival this September, with the 35 Sport making its world debut and the 45 Sport its European debut.
The show runs 8-13 September, with Aquila’s power line-up on Stand PAN 069 at Vieux-Port.
35 Sport, world debut
The 35 Sport is the newest addition to Aquila’s power range, carrying the same styling as flagship model the 45 Sport in a smaller package. A double-stepped hull is paired with twin Mercury Verado V8-300hp outboards as standard, with twin Mercury Verado V10-400hp available as an option.
The 14’9″ beam layout puts bow seating for four at the front and a large U-shaped convertible cockpit seating area aft, alongside a wet bar, a Corian-topped galley block and a six-speaker Fusion Signature Series audio system. Below deck, the cabin sleeps two in a queen berth reached through a sliding console door at the helm.
45 Sport, European debut
The 45 Sport, flagship of Aquila’s Sport range, made its world debut at the Miami International Boat Show earlier in 2026 and now makes its European debut at Cannes. Hydraulic drop-down hull-side terraces extend the beam from 15 feet to more than 19 feet, opening the aft cockpit into a full water-level social space.
Two U-shaped seating areas convert into a full-width sunbed, and twin 600hp Mercury Verado V12 outboards give the boat a top speed in excess of 50mph.
46 Coupe
The 46 Coupe pairs closed-saloon comfort with faster, sportier handling. At just over 47 feet with a 17’11” beam, it carries two full-beam cabins, each with a private en-suite head and shower. Aquila’s Hydro Glide foil system is fitted, which the builder says more than doubles fuel efficiency against a traditional monohull of comparable size.
46 Yacht
Built to the same “Explorer” style and high freeboard as the 50 Yacht, the 46 Yacht carries a 23’3″ beam. It was named winner of the Power Catamaran 12-16m category at the Yacht Style Awards 2026.
50 Yacht
The largest of the five, the 50 Yacht has a single-level, full-beam master cabin as standard across its three-cabin layout. Aquila’s foam-cored bulbous bow is fitted, designed to add lift at the front of the hull and reduce pitching in choppy water.
Alain Raas, Aquila’s Global Brand Director, said:
“Cannes Yachting Festival is the perfect stage to showcase the continued evolution of Aquila. Together with the European debut of the 45 Sport and a total line-up of seven models on display, visitors will have an exceptional opportunity to experience the versatility and strength of Aquila Catamarans.”
