The UIM F2 World Championship reaches Round 3 at San Nazzaro d’Ongina, on the River Po in Emilia-Romagna, from 28 to 30 August 2026. The round follows the standalone European Championship at Viverone, whose points did not count toward the world title, so the championship picks up exactly where Brindisi left off.

Edgaras Riabko leads by two points over Peter Morin after his win at the Brindisi round in June, with Mathilda Wiberg third, five points further back. Full championship standings and the 2026 Driver Guide are updated after every round.

What to Expect

Up to 20 F2 catamarans are permitted on the circuit at once, closed-cockpit boats built to the SST 200 hull specification running 200 APX power units. The class shares the weekend with the UIM OSY/400 European Championship, open circuit boats racing across four heats.

Racing takes place on a marked stretch of the River Po. The F2 lap is 1500 metres after a 1400-metre start lap, and Sunday’s feature race, officially billed as the F2 Grand Prix of Italy, follows a parade lap at 15:30.

Saturday’s qualifying (Time Trial F2 Group A, 14:30 CEST) and Sunday’s F2 Grand Prix of Italy (16:00 CEST) will stream live on the official UIM F2 YouTube channel.
