Ieva Millere-Hagin and Timmy Hanson win E1 Lagos GP
Team Brazil by Claure Group took their first ever series win when Millere-Hagin and Hanson ‘s combined effort resulted in the pair standing on the top step of the podium at the inaugural E1 Lagos GP presented by FirstBank.
Following the Final race Millere-Hagin said ‘The team is now ready to fight for the podium at the last race next month in Miami.’
Oban Duncan also finished on the podium with her Team Drogba teammate Micah Wilkinson after a tough battle for third overall.
Sam Coleman was fourth and Tom Chiappe took fifth place in the Final.
In the Place Race Final for the sixth, seventh, eighth and ninth places it was Giacomo Sacchi for Team Miami who finished ahead of his UIM F2 rival Andrea Solvang for Team Alula.
If it happened in powerboat racing during the last forty years the chances are that Chris Davies was there either photographing it or writing about it.
