Ahirine Ahirudin Joins Asia Powerboat Championship T750 World Series Malaysia 2025
The Asia Powerboat Championship has announced that Malaysian motorsport athlete Ahirine Ahirudin will compete in the T750 World Series Malaysia 2025 event, scheduled to take place in Kuala Lumpur in the coming weeks.
This marks Ahirudin’s debut in competitive powerboat racing and the championship has confirmed that registration remains open for additional competitors interested in joining the starting grid.
Background
Ahirine Ahirudin, 29, is a Malaysian journalist, actress, and motorsport competitor born in Alor Gajah, Melaka. She is the daughter of prominent media figure Ahirudin Attan (Rocky Bru) and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication (Journalism) from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM).
Motorsport Experience
Ahirudin brings substantial racing credentials to powerboat racing:
- Toyota GAZOO Racing Festival: Two-time podium winner, competing from Season 4 (2021) onwards
- Motorcycle racing: Trained by Malaysian race legend Oh Kah Beng, with experience in supermotor racing on a Yamaha 250
- Motocross: Active competitor with regular training at Most Fun Gym in Damansara

Journalism: Ahirudin worked as an automotive writer for the New Straits Times (2014-2016) and served as co-host and broadcast journalist for Astro Ria’s HLive entertainment program.
Acting: Since signing with Prodigee Asia Talent (WebTVAsia) in September 2022, she has appeared in several Malaysian films:
